If you are interested in straightening your teeth, we start with a detailed Invisalign treatment consultation. We use digital scans and images to ensure your clear aligners are made to fit comfortably and accurately. With Invisalign’s innovative ClinCheck software, we can even show you exactly how your teeth will move during your treatment, and a preview of your new straight smile!
We show you how to wear your aligners and give you some initial advice. You wear each set of aligners in the series for 1 week before moving on to the next, carefully controlling the amount of movement. We see you for progress appointments every 4 weeks to ensure your treatment is on track.
When you’ve worn your last aligner, your treatment is complete! We make sure you are delighted with your results and fit you with a retainer to help you keep your smile straight for the long term.

Invisalign treatment uses a series of custom clear aligners to straighten your teeth. They are very discreet when worn and completely removable, so you can eat and drink as normal. Traditional braces use brackets and wires that are fixed to your teeth for the duration of treatment. They are very reliable and effective, but many patients prefer the greater comfort and convenience associated with Invisalign aligners.
Our providers use the Invisalign Go system which uses up to 26 aligners (usually 20), each worn for 1 week. The average treatment time, including assessment and retainer provision is a little over 6 months. We give you an idea of the timescales for your treatment at your consultation.
You need to wear your invisible aligners for at least 22 hours per day in order for your treatment to be successful and move your teeth as planned. They are designed to be comfortable enough to wear full time, only taken out when you are eating, drinking, or brushing your teeth.
