Profhilo treatment typically involves two sessions, spaced a few weeks apart. We use a very fine needle to administer the injections into ten carefully planned points in your face, ensuring an even spread. We can use local anaesthetic to minimise any discomfort.
Treatment is quick, with each injection taking just seconds to deliver. There is generally no downtime required, and you can resume your daily routine immediately afterwards.

The results of the Profhilo treatment typically last for around six months. To maintain the optimal effects of improved skin quality and tightening, we recommend a top-up session twice a year.
Profhilo has an incredibly high concentration of pure form synthetic hyaluronic acid which can be targeted, by injection, into the upper layers of the skin using a small needle. Due to its runny texture, once injected, the hyaluronic acid spreads throughout the face, neck or hands. It attracts water to it, helping the skin to look younger and plumper. It triggers the skin to create new collagen and elastin by the process of bio-remodelling assisting the skin to combat signs of ageing such as fine lines, dullness and crepiness.
The full initial treatment requires two sessions, spaced around four weeks apart. Visible results are usually seen after the second session and continue to improve over the subsequent weeks.
After treatment, we advise you to avoid wearing make-up, drinking alcohol, and undertaking strenuous exercise for 24 hours. You should also avoid saunas and steam rooms for a few days. Maintaining your regular daily skincare routine is fine after the first 24 hours.
Profhilo is a minimally invasive treatment, using very fine needles. You shouldn’t find it painful at all. We can use local anaesthetic to minimise your discomfort if needed.
