Leyburn Dental Practice is based across two practices, with one situated in the town of Leyburn and the other in Hawes among the Yorkshire Dales. Both practices have excellent personnel and resources to provide outstanding dental care in North Yorkshire.

Leyburn Practice

The Leyburn Dental Practice has been based at its current site since it was originally constructed in 1979. Dental practices are frequently situated in old houses, requiring measures to be taken to accommodate equipment and facilities. Our practice in Leyburn was purpose-built for Dentistry and consists of three surgeries.

The Practice has come a long way since it was first built and has seen many changes, the latest being in 2016, when we extended from 3 to 5 surgeries incorporating a more spacious waiting room, a purpose built decontamination room, an IT suite, stock room, staff room, office and Reception including Disabled Access throughout.

The practice is equipped with many latest innovations in dentistry. Patients registered with our practice will be evaluated using all necessary diagnostic devices and treated using high-quality equipment and materials. Patients travelling by car to Leyburn Dental Practice can find us just outside Leyburn on the main road (A684) through Wensleydale. Our location has a considerable amount of space, meaning patients have no problem finding space in our car park.

Hawes Practice

The Leyburn Dental Practice can provide convenient dental care to patients living in the Yorkshire Dales. We operate a satellite practice that is housed within the Hawes Medical Practice. This location saves our patients a potentially arduous journey through the Dales to our Leyburn practice.

Patients can attend our dental practice in Hawes four days a week, Monday to Thursday. All of our dental surgeons work between both practices to ensure that all patients get exactly the same level of dental care and treatment.

We have fitted the Hawes practice to a very high standard by including the latest dental equipment, for example, digital X-rays and intra-oral cameras. Dentists access all clinical data and X-rays through a secure network that links Hawes to Leyburn.
